Hi all

Decided to take the plunge (pun intended) and in the market for my first board! Had a couple of demo lessons and really enjoyed it.

As I will be an occasional fair weather paddler I'm trying to decide between either SUP ATX PR (10'6 x 32) or ECS Evolution (10'6 x 31). Does anyone have any experience of these boards or thoughts on which one might be better for mostly flat paddles?

My mate is also after a Naish Nalu GS 10'6 and I wondered whether we might be able to get a deal if we brought both plus paddles and bags at the same time.

Thanks in advance.

i'v used both, but depends on what you want to do exactly, personally value for money id go the ecs evolution. i'v used the evo in up to 5ft surf and it gets used for sup yoga and teaching, last years biggest seller. see attached pics that may help.following pics are the 10'6 x 32.5 x4.5 180L

SUP Bailey, value-wise both these boards are "on the money".
They do have distinctly different outlines - so it will ultimately depend on where you will be using your board most.
The SUP ATX 10'6 PR has the new LiftSUP handle which offers some advantages over the ledge style handle. This may or may not be important to you.

Other than that it will probably boil down to you preference on the graphics.

For sure, if you want to get a Naish Nalu GS 10'6 as well with bag and paddle, you will save some money.

Thank Pohaku & AA for your thoughts.

Either way I probably can't go wrong and it will come down to the deal I guess. Will mostly be used in the harbour off Balmoral beach in Sydney
