Chasing a new carbon paddle. Thinking smik which i havent used. Seem a good price value. For surf only. Any good recommendations out there. W.r
Ke Nalu Wiki has reinforced edges so the reef does not damage your paddle, not full Carbon but a great surf paddle.
Snapped a carbon starboard one the other day one of the boys snapped his last week same shaft not real happy I hear the ke-nalu are the go
Ya ive had a snapped sb myself on the join of the shaft and blade sections. Burrr
Cool. That seems the go.
I was a longtime KeNalu fan, they are great quality, and were the creator of "hot glue assembly" which allows for easy parts replacement.
Now, I really do prefer my Sunova Carbon paddle.
I really like the narrower blade and the fact that they also use hot glue assembly
Kialoa Gerry Lopez Surf II great paddle , I have snapped two Ke Nalu paddles, Black Project look pretty good not cheap though anybody tried them?

The Black Project paddles do look good don't they. On the expensive side though although good paddles these days are not cheap.
