The Sunova Acid is the top end of the SUNOVA SUP Surf range for technical ability and under the right feet is a true shredder. The Acid is has a drawn out nose with a decent amount of rocker that really makes the difference on a late drop and reduces swing weight despite the XL size on this particular board. The board itself has a consistent rocker throughout increasing to the nose and tail, has a lovely single concave with beveled edges and sharp rails that just slice through the face.

<div class="text_exposed_show">The defining design of the Acid is in the HIP shape that acts as a proper stalling system without unbalancing the board which for an experienced rider will allow you stall and position yourself on the best parts of the wave throughout your ride not to mention the super fast vertical turns that it delivers :O)) I have grown really fond of this board as every ride is just fun, fast and stable.

The Acid is super techy, but can be ridden by a good intermediate that wants a board to grow with their advancing skills. For advanced riders that are tuned into the wave the Acid is a dream, is so responsive, fast, light and once you get your head around the mechanics of the stalling will take on any wave and ride it like it like a daemon.

The Acid is UK £1265.00 for the super light XXX tec weighing in at mere 7.87 kg for the 8`10 and around the 6.9 kg for the 7`4 Sized as below; 7′ 4″ x 24 3/4 x 3 3/4 @ 69L

7′ 7″ x 25 5/8 x 3 3/4 @ 74L
7′ 10″ x 26 3/8 x 3 3/4 @ 81L
8′ 1″ x 27 1/4 x 3 7/8 @ 89L
8′ 4″ x 28 1/8 x 4 @ 97L
8′ 7″ x 28 7/8 x 4 1/8 @ 106L
8′ 10″ x 29 3/4 x 4 1/4 @ 116L
9′ 1″ x 30 5/8 x 4 3/8 @ 126L
9′ 4″ x 31 1/2 x 4 1/2 @ 136L

I have the XL - 8`11 x 31.5 and 128L as a demo board as easier for all to ride and really shows of its potential.

All in all a stunning board that is a top end technical shredder

I couldn't agree more. The amazing thing about the Acid is that it rips small ****ty waves and quality waves! It is very versatile and stable but you need to be aggresive in the turn and then you get rewarded. I have a review of the 8'11 @120L here: www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/Review/Sunova-Acid-811-x-30-120L-Review/
