Hi - looking for some quick advice.

Are the new Starboard carry handles similar to those used by Naish eg you can properly grab back up into the handle and are these only available on the 2014 models?

Yes - on 2014 surf/all round boards, none of the race boards have recessed handles this year.

Thnaks Ali but from the piccy it looks to me that your finger sdon't actually curl back up into the handle like the Naish and JP boards.....makes a BIG difference when carrying over a longer walk in.

That's right.. they don't.. They centre part of the handle has a slight lip.. That's all.. Very different to the Naish, JP and Coreban boards.. My pic is the same handle as the one in Alison's pic.

They aren't the same as the naish ones, but they do allow you to pick up the board one handed from flat on the ground, if that's what you're after.

It's a pain in the #rse the way the handle is (but the board surfs great, thanks Ali!). Is it structural or ...? Why have they kept such shocking handles? I have to walk 500m to the beach and swap over at least twice with a 7'10"!!
