Finally here, The new 2018 F-One SUP's are here and they are bang on!!

Rode the new F-One Taiba this morning for the first time and to say i was impressed is an understatement. Although the 9'2 is much bigger than what i'm used to riding and has a stack more volume the board was not at all "twitchy". The chimed rails still soften the board up even in the bigger sizes. This year they have bought the sharper rail profile a little further forward and trimmed just the right amount of volume from the tail.

The whole pin tail thruster thing just makes this board super fun to ride in any conditions although this morning i was well and truly under finned. With a set of 4.0 Fastlight's in it (including the matching centre) it just lacked a little grip. This being said in the messy 3-4ft it was super fun.

The board has stacks of paddle speed for its size and width and was capable of picking up almost anything. Unlike previous F-One boards i found that the deck was super workable, You can quite easily get right up on the nose to pump it down on the fuller waves and the response as soon as you transition back is fantastic.

There construction is second to none and with the bamboo deck the feedback through the board is positive and comfortable while there weight is spot on.. F-One's Deck grip has to be one of the most comfortable on the market and is super soft under toe but still retains heaps of grip. This is a board you will be comfortable standing on for those longer sessions.

Yes i do sell these boards but just wanted to share my opinion of the board. They will not suite everyone and are far from a full performance style board however, they are a super fun versatile surf SUP. Check em out when you get a chance, They are well worth a look.

As good as the pics are they dont really do it that much justice. The pin works so well in this board, Its unreal. I actually dont think ive ever ridden anything quite like it. Everything just works...

I like checking boards on this site - your F One looked interesting! The "noosa pro" - great name - specs 9'6" 29" wide 125ltres all pretty good and THEN THE PRICE -$2969 - You have to be joking - have a look at the Lipstik Deep or the Smik Style lord
Steve - or am I out of touch? This seems too dear for a sup mal ? Too dear for me anyway

The Noosa is an unbelievable board, I just got out of the water from my first session on the new 10'0" If you want a TRUE, Mal style SUP they have nailed it. Regarding price, There are a lot of things to be taken into consideration. The main ones being construction quality and material used. The 2969.00 price tag is for the full carbon model with has the same layup as boards such as Naish, Fanatic and Starboard which are also in the same price bracket if not more. The Noosa also comes constructed with Bamboo giving the board super positive feedback through the deck and softening up flex while keeping weight down. The other advantage to bamboo is its durability. While carbon boards along with epoxy can split, Chip or crack you typically dont see this happening with timber boards (if manufactured correctly and they actually use timber rather than rice paper with a timber print) The bamboo model sits at the $2200 mark and actually priced extremely well for its quality.
