Hey Marcus, why is it that the massive rocker of the F16 is not as good as the Bullet 17' rocker for Perth conditions??

You know the rule, Chuck...Gentlemen don't paddle to windward...!!!

Good rule, that one, I concur.

Hi inorbit. Less glide. More muscle to get going onto bumps. You'll have fun on one. But just not as good as bullet and the 17'4 length is fine in wa. My unlimited has wayyyyyy les rocker than a bullet even and I have no trouble with it.

I'd go an unlimited. They're more fun, faster and easier to have fun on if your learning because when you downwind you need to be able to steer the board wherever you want and is a skill that some take along time to get if they get it at all! Having a rudder allows you to point it onto every bump you want. Do not get a f16. Yes we get wind in Perth but they're best suited to 25plus knots. I'd wait until after the big races coming up cause I have a feeling there may be a few around for sale after that.

Can I get yours....with a colour change.

Mine will be for sale. It's red though! Everyone knows red is faster.

A few years ago Dale Chapman made me a 14' x 29 that he said was going to be the board to make me enjoy Downwind paddling...

The result was basically a board that was a bit like a Cadillac, instead of surviving paddles I was enjoying them and able to concentrate on paddling and enjoying being on bumps rather than spendign too much energy on staying upright.

That board is now part of the NSP Range and is the only Signature Thai made race board that retails under $2000. The Stand Up Shop in Freo just got a bunch of them if you're interested.

Gold coast area only. Ive had bullets and they do go unreal.

However there is a lot of times when they dont go unreal around here too.
Im days away from getting a f16 which im hoping for the big rough days will fit in better.

Some of the top paddlers up the sunny coast had some real success on them and a couple of the crew that did molakai this year a calling the f16 to be a better board here.

However im told the bullets etc are good for wa
