I thought there'd be a heap of comments about the race!
I hardly ever do them but I'd race every weekend if they were all like that every time!

There was none of the crap that usually goes with races around here, like upwind paddles to make sure the race finishes at a certain place. Or flat water paddling up creeks.
We started out real wide at Snapper in the wind line and it was the perfect direction all the way to Burleigh! Sooo fun!
Congrats to Peasey and everyone else involved in organising such an awesome event!
But lets start about 1pm next time...

Totally agree, best DW race I have ever been a part of.

So much fun on the water and land.

12 Towers a huge success & when you get mint DW conditions which you can't guarantee, win win, awesome video too.

Well done guys was awesome to see so many paddlers. A great result for Jake and the One brand. You guys have done as much or more than anyone for the development of the sport in OZ right from the get go. You should be rightfully stoked and proud of yourselves.

Great day won by a great competitor, and all the other competitors that took out there age groups. The day was a buzz and if you haven't done this race before make sure you add it to your bucket list. well done to the organisers who put it on. I might be a bit bias but its one of the best events on the calendar. This year was the best 12 Towers event i've done in the last 4 years. Bring on the next one.

This was only my second proper DW race and my god, what a ball I had from the second it started to the second it finished.

Passing or being passed, whenever I was in earshot of another paddler it was either hoots of joy or words of encouragement.

Such amazing conditions for the event we were truly spoiled. Well done Troy and great to finally meet you mate. In fact, well done everyone that paddled and sucked up and blew out the stoke of SUP.

Love love loved that event.

I must say do especially love that Jakey and Benny tore it up on the ONEs but then, hey, I'm a little biased personally.

What I will say is that in my short time in SUP I've seen the boards change so much and right now they all look amazing, the designers world wide have really been working overtime in the off season.

Loving SUP.... can you tell?
