That's hysterical. What a great shot Byron.

What's with all the yellow shirts? I'd love to do a race like that but yellow really isn't my colour.

My friend Jeremy Riggs got hit in the face a while back and said all he could smell was fish on him the entire run.

Great shots Byron. Danny will be stoked with those. Maybe the fish was flying to get away from the 10ft Tiger Shark that he and Dave Kalama were watching just before the start of the race !! Here's some of my pics but from the land...

G'day Byronmaui
Great Photos & bulk competitors. So looking forward to being on Maui in July can't wait for the Maui Maliko Naish Race Its going to be a real BUZZ looking at the other aussies faces when they first paddle the Maliko run I know I had a grin fron ear to ear. I recon there should be over 200 SUP's for the Naish race. Yep in training for Molokai this Wednesday is looking so good for a paddle back Brunswick to Currumbin Alley 50km

I knew you'd like that one DJ. I put it in especially for you. There were a few of those leg ropes in the race. Bet you want to train for a year now and come over for next years event ???

that race looks epic...getting in the right spot at the start would make all the difference with all those people. I may have missed it but how long was the race, and what were the times ?

I reckon it's coming for sure here, just a few years behind. I can see downwind being every bit as big as surf SUP, esp once volume sales allow manufacturers to bring board prices down.

Here are the times and places off all divisons.

I know they said some where they only had 12 knots of wind but there are some pretty fast times in there.
