DATES FOR THE FORSTER ISLAND PADDLE CHALLENGE and HARRY'S PADDLE ANNOUNCED.
After much discussion between various race organisers the dates for the FORSTER ISLAND PADDLE FESTIVAL and HARRY'S PADDLE for 2016 have been announced.
FORSTER ISLAND PADDLE FESTIVAL 6th - 7th February 2016
HARRY'S PADDLE - Stockton 19th - 20th March 2016
It is looking like a 3-5 series will be organised including an event in Queensland. Other dates are likely to be announced in the next few days. Yesterday I posted these dates on most SUP clubs on the East Coast of NSW and as things develop further I will update info. Other events in the series will be posted on this thread and on the Sea Breeze Calendar as they come to hand.
With so many events being run it is difficult to avoid clashes but we have posted these 2 dates nearly a year ahead to help holiday and event planning for next year.

SUP Central are now looking at running a major event in Terrigal in March 2016 in conjunction with ESS Boardstore. It will be a 2 day event on the 5th & 6th of march (after the Forster event & before Harry's Paddle) incorporating a BOP & Nisco event on the saturday (& maybe a downwinder in the lake if conditions are suitable) & a distance race on the Sunday. More info to follow 
The Central Coast race looks like being the 3rd race in the series so far. Queensland is currently being organised.
Central Coast event now looks to have landed a major sponsor and backing for the local council.. Sponsor and price money to be announced soon
The SYDNEY SUP Festival and Scotland Island Races will be held on the weekend of Feb. 20 and 21st 2016.
Looks like a couple of months of jam-packed racing and festivals around stand up paddle!
For those of you who have never paddled on Pittwater before here is your chance to paddle one of the most beautiful waterways in the World. The Sydney SUP Festival is held at one of the best race venues ever.
If you don't normally drag the family to an event make sure you drag them along to this one. The demo and Nisco racing amongst the marina is unreal as is having a venue with good food, beer etc and a pool for the kids to swim in. This is one event you'll spend the whole day at and won't have to rush off. The kids won't want to leave. If you're thinking of traveling to the event get in early and book at Lake Side Caravan Park at Narrabeen.
