His performance at the PPG was absolutely mind-blowing. It seems really unfair that he didn't win the technical race because until the others got a wave and caught him up, he was in a class of his own. I've never seen anyone so relaxed in the middle of a race, and his board handling skills and sprint speeds were on another level. He seemed to fade towards the end of the final, but during the heats and for the first 2/3rds of the final he actually made Connor, Kai, Danny, Travis etc look ordinary. I didn't even think that was possible. Surely this guy has the best board handling skills in the world right now?

agree he looked great , that's surf racing for you though.I think its safe to say boothy is Australias number one paddler these days , top effort.
