Hey everyone,
my atlantis venoms Bottom deck has bubbled or plastic has released from the core. Only started sup recently does anyone know what the best steps are?
Has it been 'resting' in the sun? Ive got a TSBW SUP and it says dont leave it in the sun at all ?? - how does that work when we play at the beach ? Im having a few issues with the quality control of these boards - took me 3 attempts to get one that was - as you would expect a new board should be - acceptable ! And only after around 8 hours of only flat water padling I feel like Im getting heal dents already ?? That all said I caught my first 2 small waves yesterday on my 10' Evoke - pretty happy there!!
Barbwire - thats not even close to normal - delimaination on the bottom side of the board is a board failure in my view. Get back in touch with TSBW !!! They are good to deal with :-)
Hey Barbwire,
Sorry to see you are having some dramas, lets see if we can sort this out for you. If you wouldn't mind filling out the below form, we would be happy to investigate the issue and provide a suitable resolution.

For your information, and others on the Breeze. Delamination is typically or most commonly caused via excessive heat and the result of thermal expansion to the boards core (but not always the case). This air bubble you are seeing on the bottom of the board, is not usually caused during the products use but rather during storage. This is why the bubble is located on the bottom of the board which would normally be submerged under water, however during transport or when left on the roof racks can be subjected to excessive sun exposure.
Unfortunately leaving any EPS/Expanded Polystyrene product in the sun (regardless of the manufacturer or product type) can be problematic if the product reaches a temperature of 70 degrees or above. At this temperature an inevitable heat reaction will and does occur on all brands of SUPs and surfboards and has been tested thoroughly in our Miami S*LAB Facility. And for those of you who are not aware of the lengths we go to to ensure our products are defect free and of the highest quality, you may be surprised to hear that we have heat sensors installed in our products which record the highest temperature a product reaches to ensure our technicians can clearly identify the root cause of this issue and quantify if the product is free from defects.
For more details on our warranty policy, testing facilities and care instructions (regardless of whether our brand or others) please feel free to download a copy of our comprehensive Care Manual here:

Ultimately, we want all our customers to be happy and are more than willing to help you out, so please fill out the form and we will be in contact shortly (typically within 2 working days). For the record, if any of our products are found with manufacturing defects we are more than happy to warrant such issues and look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Lets get you back out on the water.
Cheers
Andrew

Great response and a good reminder for all of us.
These SUPS heat up so quickly on hot days - especially my carbon ones. Get em covered or out of the sun ASAP.
