A ton of the Aussies, weekend worriors to the gun sponsored paddlers prone and Sup have hit the Hawaii scene for the next month for all the down wind racers they have in July/August. Thought I would start a thread to see how they are all going.

Poi bowl paddle board race 16km held there today was a great start for the Aussies if you look at the placings below..

Is young Matty nottage the next big thing in SUP? Seriously he went good at koTC last year on a 14" against Aussies best DW paddlers and now this 2nd placing on the unlimited board and only couple mins behind Connor..
Will be following him closely in the next few Hawaiian racers he is competiting in as the field gets stronger and stronger for the bigger racers. I reckon we won't see him out of the top 5 or 7th placings..

I'm sure we are going to see more Aussie names at the top of each finish list than any other nation over the next month.

3rd in age group as far as I can tell for the man the myth the legend "Iron PHIL"

That's the great thing about this sport. Kids as young as 15 and as old as 50+ can all race together and there's really not that much between them all in down wind races.
Flat water diferent story but who paddles flat water anyways

Travis Baptiste. He's only about 20. First home on a 14' in M20 for the last two years.

Thanks Guys I got 3rd place in the over 50's it was BRUTAL out there, paddle power the whole way. Got flyblown at the presentation the last man standing till all the beer was drunk, I'm so hung over right now. The trades are back today so Maliko should be firing later."Yes Please Mr Wizard"

Just ordered an 18ft custom V3 for next year. "I'm so excited I could pull my pants down and fire a rocket" I love my custom V1 17'4'' it's a gem has very good rocker the glide is unbelievable on this board. But it's all about the nose design off the V3, I had a very in-depth conversation with Jeremy Riggs about it.

check it out already

The Man the Myth the Legend 1970's Pro Surfer/Male Model/ one of the first Pioneers to tow-surf JAWS with the use of a rubber duckie before Jet-Skies Mr Buzzy Kerbox.
I've had many a paddle battles over the years with Buzzy this Saturdays it's on again at the M2M race.
Maui @ 2km is saying conditions are looking favourable.

Aussies killing it again! So far my prediction on Matty is on the money. wow that kid must fly Down Wind! Linc beau and casey all dialing in the unlimited boards as well for massive results.

Connor unbeaten ever at this race how many is that in a row now for M2M??

freakisly quick on an unlimited board by the looks of it. Hopefully we see some footage of him from these recent races in coming weeks.
Hopefully some footage of all the Aussies they are killing it!!

Imagine all of them will be battling it out at KoTC at the end of the year that will be a hard one to come out Ontop.
Australia needs more down wind races!
