all you guys from "Australia" that are coming down for the TassieSUP Winter Classic, similar to other states you can't enter the state title, BUT there will be another division as part of the competition "Australian Cold Water SUP Champion" if for some strange reason there isn't enough of you to fill a final, TassieSUP will select some local wild cards to fill it up

2MT tells me he has been slaving his guts out in the paddle factory making a suitable trophy for such a prestigious event, who's going to be taking it home this year ?
I caught 2MT doing his beach warm-up today

Jared Reed, a front runner to take out the "Australian Cold Water SUP Championship", just acclimatising to the temputure, might want to get a good 4/3 and booties, but I bet he knows that now after this session
Wind light offshore .. waves perfect @ 1.5 to 2 m .. perfect for Sat comp
water temp could be colder but will have to do .. come down and win
a National Title .. if you're tuff enough.
Here it is, the inaugural "Australian Cold Water SUP Champion" trophy, only a couple of days to go and some lucky Australian will be talking this back across Bass Straight to it's new home
Jared Reed, from Blue Planet SUP is the inaugural "Australian Cold Water SUP Champion" here he is this morning just completing the 1/2 marathon, the Temp is almost topping 8C and Jared has to take a swim as he's feeling the heat.
What a fine specimen.......need to work on that tan!
looked to me you were just trying to fit in with the "Tassie Tan"
Here he is, surely next year he will get himself a good 4/3 and booties when he comes back to defend his title
