Here is a recap of last years results and Overall Category Champions and we are hoping to get all defending champions at Penrith this year.

Ang and Paul Jackson are definitely coming down to defend their 200m sprint crowns and to seek the Overall Champions trophies after missing the last race (5,000m) last year to catch a flight to Peru to compete. Their current "Australian Record" times for the 200m are Paul 54.92 seconds and Ang 1:05.33 respectively.

Will we see some new benchmarks set this year ??.. its a very competitive field in the Open Men with young chargers Trevor Tunnington and James Casey in the mix for sprint honours as well at the overall trophy.

All other categories are wide open with lots of fresh faces and a NSW contingent looking to get on the scoreboard in their home state.

There will be a few more international paddlers competing as well.stay tuned.

Thanks

Paul
