Hi.
As a youngster i was fortunate enough to compete on several Bodyboarding Australian pro tour events.
Now, I'm proposing the same agenda in the sport of SUP surfing, this could even work for BOP, sprint racing, downwinding.
we practically have all of the events running.
divisions-
Under 21's
Open
Over 40's
over 50's
10ft + division - all ages (love what the Sydney club is doing with that!!!!)
the point system for each rider is totalled from there best 3 results, meaning you would only have to make maximum of 3 events.
I really think this could happen quite easily with constant communication between passionate people and absolute 0% bull**** politics!
Also i have a Big Wave Invitational that is happening in 2016, mother nature willing.
I work in events, so i know whats S'up!
if you would like to talk more about this proposal, please contact me...

thanks!
side line here.
shouldnt one sprint distance = about ten seconds.
that's what's is estimated the amount of time for max power/effort before the energy systems begin to break down.
This would be awesome for the sport on the surfing side of things ..I think as there's not much out there going on. something like this is need for the growth of the sport , having age groups is a good idea as it would get more people involved, I see the racing side of things becoming huge in the not too distant future plenty of events popping up everywhere, not so for surfing unless more events are organized, I remember doing triathlons in the mid 80's with just a hand full of people..look how big they are now every ones a triathlete even if you train by eating cakes all you need is a $10,000 bike & some joggers and your set to go race, you might not win but hey your part of the scene. Would be nice to see more sup surfing events though.
