Check this out... Andrew Prowd's (Prowdy) catch. Look at the board in the background it's a 8-6 Pro and that's what he caught the fish on He had a rod strapped to his back towing a deep diving lure , when the fish got close he gaffed it one hand and gilled it with the other. Shoved it between his legs live kneeling on it and paddled in before the sharks turned up.
Amazing effort especially on such a small board. The day before he got towed 300m before landing a 11kg Bluefin tuna.(same board) Location unknown.
Respect - would like to see his movements on a GPS watch although I guess that would give away his secret spot (haha)

That little fish wouldnt have pulled prowdy around much.... Cause prowdy is a big unit
awesome effort!!! I spear Spanish when they are around and they run hard if you don't stone them so he would have had a nice little fight on his hands haa ha!!! Looks maybe 12-15 kilo . Got me thinking now....:)
That "Prowdy" is a skilled Mac slayer on light tackle..I've bagged a 28kg Big Mac standing both feet braced on a 7.4m centre console and had to "walk the dog" three times with 3 runs pumping hard with 50lb braid, Saragosa and someone else workin the gaf..I say that man earnt his dinner!!
This didn't happen to be rainbow beach, I was up there over easter and saw a bloke take off from the beach with a rod tucked in his shorts then trolled once behind the break , he kept going straight out pretty much and when I came back into the beach had a look around for him and he was out past the shark cans.
DOGMAN, next time ya hit Double Island get in touch and ill take ya on a mission to a couple other spots, you hairy Beast!
