Back on the water today. First time in 2 months! Paddled into 8-10 kts for 20mins and that was enough. Turned around and nice paddle back.
Bought a garmin quatix 5 sapphire during confinement. Half price and couldn't resist. First paddle with it today and it uploaded into Strava buy itself. Track seems accurate enough.
Gives stroke count etc. Will have to use it more to see how accurate it is.

Gives all sorts of info. Came with 2 straps. The metal one is too heavy.

We bought our son a Garmin Instinct for his birthday. He seems very happy with it to track his paddling, runs , exercise and heartrate. Not as high spec as a fenix but plenty of detail for him.
