I have been given a leave pass to go and do some sup surfing in Bali,
Stoked!
I am going to try to get to a few lesser surfed places I know of which should be fun this time of year,
There should be less crew out at these spots so if anyone is going to be over there and would like to check it out at the same time, you are welcome.
There this Tuesday 30th and back the following Saturday.
WhatSUP brada
Bali.... you lucky bugger
Have a great time bro, im jealous and stuck here at work. Im sure you will get some good waves and take the big stuff. There are some good waves on the other side of the island the crowd dont generally hit. Have a blast and get a some good waves and chill
Bagus!!!!
It's biizarre over here. - had it firing 4 - 6 ft this morning by myself and then the arvo sesh there where 20 guys out. Still plenty of space though and everyone pretty chilled.
Lost my board again on a clean up set but managed to get it prett easy this time on the inside . Still had a big swim though with the paddle stuffed down my rashee and shorts.
Glad I did a few laps before I got here
No one else supping over here which is interesting.
sounds like an ideal time, i was over there this time last year, whilst not the peak swell time, its also not the peak crowd time as well, had a few sessions with very few surfers out, its hard to stop smiling when this happens but yeh to get wacked by a sneaky set is often slightly disconcerting it is also weirdly I know, a nice problem to have? Not sure which side of the Island your on, doesnt matter there is an abundance of good waves....surf, massage, food ,surf, bintang...simple
Yeap this time of the year SUP is only a West coast thing.
MOst SUPer are in Sanur and then Nusa Dua and some guy also go to Serangan.
No wind too after 5 days of westerly that started on Christmas.
Bye Jankie
