Its on again - SUP racing for everyone at Balmoral Beach.
Short and long courses to suit all levels. SUP-X racing is about having fun with an X-factor with every race.
Just what that X-factor will be you will not know until race day!
So come on down and enjoy Stand UP Paddle Board racing on beautiful Sydney Harbor.

The Balmoral Summer SUP-X Series
The race series is run in conjunction with the Balmoral Paddlesurf DEMO days.

Round One - Sunday August 28th.
BRIEFING 7.45 am sharp. RACE START 8am
2. Round 2 Sunday Oct 2nd
3. Round 3 Sunday Oct 30th
4. Round 4 Sunday Nov 20th
Where: Balmoral Beach
Balmoral Sailing and SUP School at the Balmoral Sailing Club

Conditions are looking good for the first round this weekend - sunshine and light west winds - Woohoo!

WHERE: Balmoral Beach: Balmoral SUP School at the Balmoral Sailing Club
PARK: Balmoral Oval Car park (Paid parking)

Briefing 7:45am Race start 8:00am

REGISTRATION will be on the day so please allow 5-10 mins to register.
COST: $10 per race. $30 for 4 races
CONTACT US if you wish to hire a board for the race - info@paddlesurfing.com.au

All races subject to conditions on the day.
This is an open water race with exposure to Sydney Heads.
Buoyancy vest must be worn. Available to hire - $5 on the day.
SHORT 2-3k course is within Hunter Bay.
LONG 5-6k course crosses the main boating channels with swell from the heads.

This is a series with Medallions for winners in the following categories for the overall faster combined times from your best 3 races.
3k Short course: 12'6 Max 1st Male 1st Female 1st 45+
5-6k Long Course 14' Max 1st Male 1st Female 1st 45+ Certificates will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place getters.

Yes, it was an absolute pearler for the first round of the Balmoral SUP-X series. 40 paddlers of all levels rocked up to a chilly start on a sun drenched morning to paddle to 5 separate beaches around Middle Harbour.
It was a magic morning!
