Here's a little vid from our North West trip of the family SUPing Cable Beach in Broome.
Not renown for it's pumping waves, this day was no exception, funny thing was it turned out to be one of the more fun surfs of the trip. BTW that's not me singing at the start
nice goatman, thats what family holidays are all about everyone out there enjoying it. Luv shareing the stoke of surfing with the kids it is very cool.
Brought a smile to my face thanks Goatman.
And some memories as well.
For about ten years my dad was the caravan park manager at Cable Beach Caravan
Park which was located on the rise overlooking Cable Beach. We had many a
satisfying surf session there. The 30 foot tidal rise and fall meant that waves would
break at different places during the day. One reef after another would come into play.
Cyclone season would regularly deliver sizable swells. Nice memories thanks
Thanks mate need some cheering up and that hit the spot
Rooted my knee kiting yesterday will see the butcher on Thurs and see what he wants to do. Arial down the line one foot in the strap one out, yikes!! bent right leg 90 degrees sideways. The 700m body drag in was not fun.
ahhh thats no good hilly, hope it isnt as bad as it sounds and that you are back on the water soon.
If its any consolation I thought I had done my medial wakeboarding once and so did a sports doctor and physio but once I got to the surgeon and had a MRI it was only a fractured tibia and only 6 weeks off the water. So heres hoping the surgeon has some good news for you
I am finally back crawling (surfing) again this week, got to crawl before you stand... Feels good to be back in/on the water.
Hey Goatman,
just out of interest im currently in Singapore on the way back to Western Australia. I couldn't watch the video as it comes up with a message;
"This video is blocked by sony music corporation as it has breached copyright in your country" ( I think they refer to singapore here).
Anyone had the video blocked in Australia ?
Hey Hilly....hope its not too bad. Hope you avoid the slab and slash of the cold steel
