If you can't afford a SoloShot - just lock your GoPro to a tree on the cliff, shoot in HD and then pan around the frame in a lower resolution...

Clever! Was that a Black in normal mode (i.e. no fish-eye)? What software are you using?

That's right - a GoPro3 Black in Narrow perspective at 1080p. I then crop it to 720p (zoom 150%) in Adobe Premiere.

Great idea.. as long as there's no Gopro thieves hanging around..

I don't think iMovie will let me do that..
