Lovely looking board, 5 stringers is quite unusual nice and unique.

Gotta love a pin tail, we have some waves that would be sweet in.

DC and Lacey dreamed up this baby for me and it was love at first site.

Took a while to get dialed but very sweet.

Great question Miko.

This guys is stoked on his new board and he should be its his.

There was a time when on a daily basis people posted all sorts of great reviews on new or unusual boards.

But since the pimping posts went down and everyone gets red thumbed for just posting, most of that input has dried up.

I was staggered when one of the newer guys asked for info on stepping down from a 9'8 the other day and hardly anyone said a word!

I can think of at least 6 boards that would suite him from 6 different brands.

You would have thought you would get a response from: AA, Jacko, DJ, Casso, Sam, Simon etc etc etc. As long as the playing field is level who cares?

Makes you think about how rediculous this red thumb Bull**** really is and what effect it has on input!

Screw the red thumbs post what you believe in!

yep, it a forum killer. it's only human nature to have the red thumbs eventually have an impact on people who post no matter how much some might say they ignore them.

Someone seems to constantly red thumb OG SUP's posts, every single one. Makes me laugh, and it obviously doesn't bother him too much. It doesn't matter what he posts, he gets a red thumb .

Is that five stringer Polyurethane foam? How much does she weigh in at?

Also- is that blue ridge half way up the deck near the rail another handle or something... it looks like the leg rope attachment.
(Nice board btw :)

Hi Intrinsik

Yep its a Burford Polurethane Blank.
Shaped and glassed by Mick Pierce in Rye Victoria , Mick has made about 6 or 7
sups now and is a craftsman from the old school.

Not sure of the weight, but its is amazing the difference the way this board sits in the water and surfs compared to the epoxy pop outs ,feels like you have a real surfboard under your feet not a cork.

I have now had about 8 surfs on it in various conditions from on shore mush burgers to overhead pure glass and it just keeps getting more enjoyable with
every surf .

would have brought to Easter Monday paddle but was getting some minor repairs.

This is great up to 3 times over then it is gun time. Carves really well on anything just looses out on paddle power in really big stuff. Looking forward to trying it as a quad in some bigger waves. Came with 5 boxes.

Prefer the Mano in smaller waves much more nimble with all the rocker.

Yeh as we were talking at the bbq paddle thing i love my Mano in around head high and a little bit plus its super fun.. Maybe its my surfing abilty but i strugle to control it in anything bigger.. So i guess what im saying is i want something a bit more suited to say double head plus waves and not sure where to look..

Or is it just im a s##t surfer ?

I think we are both sh!t as Courts rips on one no matter what. Must admit I am liking them more and more in head and a half.

Re: The Bird- 'feels like a surfboard not a cork'- I'll bet. I had a go on a PU SUP- but sadly only a flat water paddle. The thing weighed a ton though- but it did have a nice feel. :D I think it had three stringers from memory.
