The old forum has been somewhat slow of late with everyone no doubt on holidays so thought that I would post a pic of my son and I sharing a wave on our annual Father / Son surf trip. (And no I didn't drop in on him, he was paddling back out and turned and came with me after I called him on, as every Dad does.)

Some of the best times and memories of my life are sharing moments like this with my boy and with my family and best mates in general. I honestly believe that 'time' is our most precious non-renewable resource and that 'time' spent with the important people in your life, especially doing things that you mutually love, well, you cant buy that!

I hope that this find you all happy, healthy and enjoying life. Remember also that you only get one go at this amazing thing called 'life', so spend as much time as you can with the ones you love and doing what you love.

Oh and go surfing every chance you get.

Yep - Fully sick Skeeee - well written and spot on sentiment. Really great stuff.
And that photo's a gem!
You'd be getting that one framed I reckon!

Makes me wanna go surf!

Couldn't agree more. I have more fond memories of pushing my kids into waves and seeing them so stoked than I do of me catching big waves and getting insane pits. I guess times change as we grow older, but it fills my heart with joy watching my kids do their first turn, or floater or even catch some white wash on a body board.
Stoked on your stoke, and your son's stoke. Keep it up.....wishing you an awesome 2019
