I think he wants to know how the average Joes went.

I'm keen to know the winner of the Bennet/JB showdown

Just stirring tt.

Hoped there would be more results though given 260? I think paddlers I saw someone post. Not just the few elite that already pretty much know how the results will pan out.

Sorry but they are the result? Everyone had a good time so not sure on the comment above? The results are pretty much all they announced so sorry i don't know any other results as well.

I do know they had a great little kids race where all were winners does that help?

Tomorrow should be epic!!!! 260 paddlers is incredible. It's looked like a great weekend with a big turnout to the Friday paddle clinics too. Spewing I've been down here but no time to race.

Joe blow punter here, i reckon I did alright about halfway down the pack....had a ****load of fun, got smashed by a couple of shore break waves, finished the race, enjoyed the other races in the arvo and had a few beers with mates. Can't get any better than that.

and it was also Valentines day. Shout out to my wifey who is my #1 supporter at these gigs.

Results should be out later today.
Thanks everyone for coming to Forster for the weekend. I'll put the total break down of race numbers up in the next few days but the 5 and 10km had 70-80 in each.

Unfortunately JB was really sick all week and from the Monday started posting on FB that he wasn't well. Comments about sniffles. cough medicine tasting aweful etc. JB sent his side kick Andy davies up to the event and Andy competed under JB's entry but we were all aware of the situation so this year Adam Bennett gets bragging rights.

This show down will develop to something like Steve Walker and Chris Parker's Battle of the Titans.

In fairness to JB he was paddling pretty well so it would have been an interesting battle both on the water and at night.
