Given the 2016 racing sups on offer, what would your 'go to board be' for river training/racing & ocean down winders?
The new 26.75 Falcon would suit my ability/weight ratio or the Maliko at 14'x26"
I realise the ACE is a good option, however not a dug out fan.
Thoughts appreciated?

Your weight and where you will paddle most will be the decider. The Falcon 24 is surprisingly competitive on the flat and is great in the ocean. You can improve stability by adding a larger fin such as the VMG Blades Mako 44. It's a great all around board.

If you're slightly larger at 90+kg consider the Falcon 26.75 as it will have the same characteristics for you.

There is a thrad elsewhere on Sea Breeze discussing how the board goes in different conditions.

For a good all round go to board, it's hard to go past a DC. They're pretty fast everywhere...

404's are now in Oz - sent one to WA last week.

Independent review - supexaminer.com/tag/404-v3/ - it stacks as a true all round shape.

14' x 25.5 weights just 9.9kgs - thanks to better construction methods using and investing in moulds' rather than a cnc cut board like DC.

I've been paddling this for the last two weeks - impressive in all conditions.

The SIC Fx 14 is a great board with a very Eide of range similar to the naish. I haven't paddled the Fanatic yet
