Should of kept the MTB helmet on. After a full weekend of MTB racing without a scratch...

I just got myself a new Gath helmet last week..
That's a good reason why I should start wearing it..

Heavy surf injury you got there Greenie stoked you made it back to the beach without blacking out lucky it happened here and no in Indo and your hair will hide the scare. I'd say the good news is you'll be back in the water surfing in a few days wearing your new Gath helmet. Get drunk have a jig-i-jig that will make you feel better.
Same thing happened to me but it was under the arm I was lucky my fin didn't cut my artery otherwise I would have just bleed to death and I was in Timor got stitched up with NO Lidocaine Antiseptic WTF don't you learn how to harden up when your in the middle of f###en nowhere.
Got to love a good gash. Mate that is so nasty .I think you have taken AA's prize away with that one (worst Gash). Looked liked it sewed up well so should be a speedy recovery. Heal well mate.
Now that's a hard way to get a face lift!!! You win best gash by a mile, hope you heal quickly and get back out there soon.

Geez greenroom bet ya had a headache. Last fathers day i got bitten by a sidebite, with my 3 kids in the surf with me. Pulled the fin out of the board. Wetty saved me from bleeding out. Live to surf another day...

Sheesh Greeny! I'm not sure what's more impressive, that gash or the fact u were out surfing! I couldn't walk let alone surf on Monday!! Get well soon mate. (For those wondering what I'm on about we both did cape to cape ride on weekend and he rides like a machine too!)

Also meant to say get well soon! Took so long to load the pics! Know what it's like being forced out of the water for a length of time, frustrating. You're lucky you had good people to help you, makes all the difference I know.
