Ouch Owen you sure made a good job of that.
Get well soon.

I was originally thinking of rounding out my road trip by coming home via Denmark and Margie's and was going to see if you were around for a surf but I guess that is out of the question now.
I'm running behind schedule anyway so will just try to get a few waves before I leave South Oz then shoot home.

Hopefully catch up for a surf sometime soon.

Ah! Marathon legs! I can hardly walk the next day, let alone surf after racing MTB. Nice concept though!
I here the Cape is an Epic!
Rest good mate - I think our bodies might be telling us something!

Look on the bright side, would have looked even dumber with dreads on half your head, so the haircut a while back was good timing :)

Lucky though mate, would be even worse with an ear lopped off, that is a significant gash.

A fin to the head and a long paddle to the beach!
Thanks Dave for driving me to Margs hospital and my good nurse friends John and Sandy for looking after me.

Mate, havent met you but that's enough to send my condolences. I really hope it heals well and no repercussions. Righteous message to all those not in control of their boards or surfing without leashes! but then again s@@t happens. All the best!
