* the Harrys Paddle event was created to raise funds & awareness toward the Harry Meyn Foundation ( www.harryshouse.com.au ).
Following the completion of the event & no later than four(4) week after the completion of the event an amount from all race registrations , online donations & fund raising efforts during the weekend will be publicly announced & this donation will then be formally presented to the Harry Meyn Foundation.

FAQs

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Are leashes/legropes required for each of the events?

YES , a suitable leash/legrope is required & must be worn by each participant in each event.




Are PFDs required for each of the events?

At this point in time our permits & those who issue them are saying NOT necessary however we ask all participants to bring them along in case there is a last minute change by the authorities.




Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

there is NO age limit on the events.

ID may be requested by race organisers to verify purchased ticket & ticket holder.



What are my parking options getting to the event?

there is plenty of parking options at both locations over the weekend

* Sunday -> there is a board drop off zone to allow paddlers to STOP - DROP - GO (maximum 2mins)



What can/can't I bring to the event?

We encourage participation on anything you can paddle for the Sunday event.

the Saturday BOP is restricted to entrants able to control their craft in what may at times be rough seas.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

In the event the race organisers are forced to cancel the event a refund less administration fees will be processed.
In the event a participant is unable to attend or complete an event that they have registered for there is NO refund.



The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?


NO , due to the conditions of the event permits issued, all names on the registration/ticket MUST match the attendee.
