I hadn't.. but when the Surftech guys were in town last week I got to check one out.
It looks like some kind of indestructable SUP board.. It looks like carbon but feels like plastic.. It feels like you could drive a car over it without a problem.. and not heavy.
Looks like it would be a good river board if your river has lots of rocks.. I took some pics.

I can highly recommend those belly channels actually. It trims out rocker in the middle, to gives a flatter central rocker, and improved paddling speed. But you retain the rocker on the rails, for carving nice lines, and drive off the rails from the bottom turn.

I didn't even see the step in the rail till just then. Wonder how it would surf and if they are going to do a thruster/quad option
Potentially a great training board when you are pushed for time to get to and from the water and actually spend some time paddling!! It would be nice not having to be quite so careful with roofracks and straps and not having to wince when the kids bang the board into the ashphalt
