Yes I have a few times. I just use my JP 8-6 with same fin set up and all the other boys just rode their normal boards as well ranging fro 7-4 to 8-0. You don't need anything special just stay wide fat boards.

cheers many thanks that good to know, what exactly do you mean by this last bit do? I assume you mean stay away from fat and wide? people have said it gets windy so a little extra width on one of the quiver is worth it.

I'm sure Rob will explain better but wide boards are harder to hold a rail .. and tend to bounce a lot a higher speeds.. There's a reason big wave guns are long and narrow..

Yeah sorry stay away from wide fat boards . Yes it can get super windy .,What I meant was stick to your traditional shaped Sups avoid wide bodies with fat tails and nose.

Cool cheers yes I'm planning to build a 3 board quiver which i will probably start at about 7'6 and maybe go up to a 8'3 or some thing and a 27 or 28 wide as my windy board. Tempted to go full sandwich to give them a little more durability. Any other advice for Cloudbreak would be welcomed it's about as different as you can get to what I normally get to surf locally!
