The Nikon Keymission 360 - a 360 degree view. Probably makes the waves look even smaller... (Not cheap at A$650)

You can stabilise the image to any point or direction you want during post production. What was an annoying novelty is starting to become a useful creative tool.
At the moment hand held stabilisers are the next big thing. The video below shows you can use a 360 degree camera and achieve a similar end result without having to mess with the camera as much during shooting.
Not my cup-a-tea.. in fact I hate it.. There's way too much distortion for my liking.. I find that even the standard GoPro has too much..
... apparently you can change that in post production too. It's probably a bit early to be sure but the promise is you have a spherical image you can pan and zoom on to your heart's content. It's only early days when you consider that the first GoPro appeared in 2006.
You ever met The Dogman??
His head spins so much you'd get dizzy watching the footage!!
That thing might just straighten out everything
After a bit of heavy Post production
I just want to see "View from the couch" and "Life inside the barrel" with the Dogman - but in 360 where you can control what you see - look behind, sideways, up, down - not reproduced into a normal vid.
