Thanks Paul.. Shame you had to work and missed it.. I felt pretty rusty because it's been a while.
It was a good run. Here are the stats. We had a few stops along the way - documentary filming has its needs

We had a really good wind direction - perfectly lined up - and some good waves in the mid-section of the run. The wind was in the 25 - 35 knot range, with some gusts 40+ in that mid-section - you know it is in the high 30's and 40 knots when you get blown into runners without paddling. Sunshine, warm Melbourne Autumn day, water still board shorts temp. Why can't they all be like this?
And, yes, it is good to be on leave and not in the office yesterday.

Great stuff. That beast of a bump from 2.45 that went forever got me quite excited.
