Fly Virgin, Anything up to 9'1 can go on as your luggage both domestic and international.
Just checked Virgin and everything depends on the plane you are going on, some have a 1.8M limit most a 3m limit and one that can take much larger depending on flexibility of the item!
I'd ring and check, I believe generally Jetstar pack luggage in the large boxes that then go underneath... these will only take up to about 2m.
