In an interesting move Jimmy Lewis is going to bring some models out in carbon. Will be interesting to see how they stack up to his high quality sandwich boards.

Hope to get one of these in carbon, looks like a fun board. It is Jimmy's new World Wide 8 9 x 31 at 140l, should be heaps for my 110 kegs. Seeing I find the 9 2 Stungun pretty easy at 124l I might try the 8 5 :)

Certainly interesting looking board, but I wonder why the deck grip goes all the way to the nose?? Personally I'd love to have the new black n blue added to my quiver, ha ha show those long boarders that infest the breaks where I surf how to nose ride

Great looking boards.... I like the full deck pad, since I like to run around on every board I own.

Proof will be in the pudding.

Not sure on eta yet but SP would be a good test of stability and glide. Not sure the paddle out would be that enjoyable on the 8 5 :(

Very nice, I think this is really a move in The right direction. Not overly wide boats and not super thin unstable performance shapes just good short shapes for people of all sizes. I would be interested in knowing when these are hitting the Perth shores

This is what jimmy has to say about these The world wide

" The World Wide boards are shorter in general than the Stun Guns. That's the difference, mainly. Although the tail block is a swallow, the tail in general is a little pulled. They're not meant to replace the Stun Gun. They're just an addition to the line. They're for riders who want something a little shorter and possibly more forgiving than the Stun Guns. They are a little more volume as far as the similar sizes go (8'1" World Wide is 112 liters and the 8'2" Stun Gun is 99 liters) but they ARE high performance boards, just like the Stun Guns. Aloha, Jimmy

and the super tech

" This one is called Super Tech. It's a lot narrower than most boards and low volume. Expert riders for this, I'd say. Aloha Jimmy"

My Jimmy 8'7" Kwad paddles well. Admittedly it's not as wide as the world wides ... the 8'7" Stun Gun paddles well as well. Great boards. Hopefully these new ones will continue the trend.

I must say I'd love to try a 7"10 super tech ,but sadly I'd never reAlly get a chance to put it through it's paces here in perth

Plus the minister of war an finance would go super nova over a 3 board sup quiver

Easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission, works for me; 4 SUPs, 3 kites plus boards, motorcycle (Ducati Diavel) and 2 high end mountain bikes :)

From the man himself:

This isn't a very good picture and this handle is in a custom board that I made so it's not super clean. but you can see that you can cup your fingers down inside and around so it's real easy to hold the board without the forearm getting tired. You can see on the second picture that the hole might seem wider than most and it might freak the rider out at first but it's NOT an issue. I KNOW I'm going to be hearing all the know it alls saying, BEFORE they even test it, that they're going to trip in it with their toes!! BS!!! I've got that on my downwind board and I'm moving around a lot more than any one will be moving on a wave board or ANY board and the fact is….. the feet never go NEAR the handle.

Good news for long walks :)
