Well another King of the Cut done and dusted.
Thanks as usual to all the people from Stand Up Surf Shop, SUPWA and all the other volunteers that make this event possible.
The wind was cranking all week and heaps of interstate and international crew were having a great time doing the Half Cut run in the days leading up to the big event.
The forecast started to look a bit dodgy for the day though, however as always seems to be the case the seabreeze started filling in just before the start and it just got better and better as we went.
There was some great bumps to be had the whole way and although the breeze never reached the strength it had been it previous days I think it was some of the best conditions we have had and records were set in both the men and womens feilds. There was nothing but smiles allround.
I'm not sure if there was any official post coming but as there isn't much in the way of photo's and results etc yet, I thought I would share what I could whilst we eagerly await another of Reflex Films videos, that always capture the event so well.
Jake Jenson powering home for the win in a new record time.
Angie Jackson takes out the womens, again in record time
Some more great photo's here, thanks Neng Chunthanom for allowing me to sharehttps://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19l2ImX1GAJfdwMAlBgfJVYEzDkA5LGOS
