SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN this is a must for the thrill seeker. It has the biggest and best Roller Coasters on the planet.
Like FULL THROTTLE - Worlds tallest and fastest looping coaster. Triple launch coaster takes riders up and over a “Top Hat” that traces the outside of the world-record loop 54ft
GREEN LANTERN - first in the U.S. spinning coaster Zig-Zag your way around this vertical track. I nearly lost my sunglasses on this ride I caught them in mid air full flight.
TATSU - Fly the speed of Fear - the worlds tallest, fastest and longest flying coaster sends riders through the Parks distinct mountainous terrain.
There’s 35 roller coaster rides in this theme park, unreal. I was like a little grommet, well I guess I’m just a little grommet when I add up my age 51yo 5+1= 6yo so I’m just a 6yo kid. I felt like the Green Lantern myself as I was running around the park sooo fast, wanting to go on every ride and the park was very empty with hardly any crowd - stoked. The longest I had to wait was like 2 minutes. The best roller coaster seat are the front row or the very last seat as it has more kick.
I was a big tough 6yo kid until I got on some of the rides because then I wanted my mummy, I was craping myself. "Help Me Please Mr Wizard
Hi Downwinder, man those pictures look great! I grew up in California and have been to Magic Mountain many times, but not for at least 10 years! I don't recognize any of those rides except Green lantern, which was called something else back then.
Did you go on Viper or the Batman rides? That is if they still have them. Those were my favorite as a teenager. Back then, Viper had some record for the number of times you went upside down....it was a lot of fun!
Magic Mountain and Knott's Berry Farm are the best for grown-up roller coasters. How long were you in California?

G'day Aramathorn I've done 4 tours of Magic Mountain 79,85,95,2013 it's the best theme park on the planet, the Viper was my first ride of the day I went front row seat VIP as I was the only one on it. I first went on the Viper back in 95 and I s##t what a rush. The Batman was gold so intense.
I'm so sore today from running around the theme park like a little grommet, on some of the rides the G-forces are so strong you can feel the blood rushing from your hands and feet get tingerly e.g. pins and needles. I lost my stomach a few times.
Lower Trestles was pumping today in the 3-4ft range. If I had to live in California, San Clemente would be the place for me it has that Burleigh Heads, Newcastle feeling about it.
That ride in the last pic makes me crook just watching it.
The drop goes beyond 90 degrees aaarrr, as it goes around the loop upside down the ride slows down you'll feel your backside leave the seat mate frightening
Do you need an apprentice DW
Im am willing to work hard for you..
