Light day - 15knots but fun little runners testing my new back-cam mount. The camera angle seems to allow you to get a slightly better sense of the throughs and you can follow the board dropping in and gliding away.
I have an adjustable pole so will try and set it higher next time.....DJ eat your heart out!
Nice.. Shame you can't keep your back more still when you paddle because that movement is a bit off putting.. and also a shame that view flaterns the waves so much..
Maybe mix it up with a couple of cameras.. Having the camera on you body has gotta be a little easier than having it on the board.. I wonder how high you can go with that system.. Hmmmmm..

Id like to see the mount a bit further back rather than higher up myself, sort of like the windsurfing back mount that seems to get more of your body into the shot I reckon.
I can turn the camera more down - then you get more of the body and board but then the mount will also come into view. It is essentially the windsurf back mount, if you want - I'll try and post a pic of the set up. The only problem by extending the pole is that it would accentuate the instability whilst paddling which is annoying. But I'll try a few different things and see....
I prefer the back/side mount DJ is using - but thats too much plumbing for me...
