Could any well seasoned Naish riders out there tell me what year this board is and typically its width if length is 11ft....Have jumped on Naish site and todays sizes are 11'x31" 11'4"x30" and 11'6"x29".... Is this correct....Interested in this board but the seller can't see diamensions on it...He is 6ft 2" and weighs 112kg and tells me he is a novice boarder and says the board is stable..I am a flat water sup rider at this stage but want to try in surf...I'm also 6ft 2" and weigh 92kg....
Would this board suit me at this stage...
Love to know age of this board...Am thinking 2010-2011?

pretty sure it will be the 11'6 x 29 and a bit.
the easiest way to tell is the rail, if it is a big full round rail then deffo the 11'6 but given a 112kg novice finds it stable this pretty much has to be the one...
year model is closer to 2008 (it probably does not have specs as there was only one model back then!).

as for suitability it is a great cruiser and ideal for entry to the surf if you have a small mushy wave with some length, but a big board by todays standards and not overly wide (it gets stability through the rail thickness). this style of board has been superseded by the newer 10'6 x 32 and 11 x 31" models on the market.

Pretty sure its a 11'6". I have the same board. The specs are written on the stringer on bottom near the fin box. 29 3/4 wide.
Great board to cruise or catch smallish waves and just enjoy sup'ing.

It looks like a 11.6 .hard to tell by the picture ..but it looks to chunky for a 11.4 here a picture of my old one .does it look similar .if it is they are big to surf but a great paddler .

It is an old 11'6"x29 1/2" Nalu.. I had at least three of them.. They've stuck the deck pad on wrong because the print should line up with the print on the board.. The balance point of the handle was always way out.. and you should throw that paddle into the nearest bin.. It's total rubbish..

It was a great board in its day.. but it's very old school now..

This was back when I loved this board.. www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/SUP/Proud-Uncle-paddle/?page=-2

Thanks for comments... You were all right, the owner managed to find out the size in the end

an

d was a 11'6"x29"....Decided not to get as width bit narrow for novice me... also a little rough and I too thought the deck grip was on the wrong way.... Hav just said yes to a 2016 10'10" GTW for GS price...bloke from Ocean Addicts Sunny Coast was really helpful...and gave me a good discount on some gear also... and offered to freight it to me in WA for very little...Really pleased with the service recommend 100%....just hav to wait a wk ...is going to be a long week....
