Just in case you did not get the spam, GoPro have a new paddle mount - it is an improvement on the old one because you can rotate it and is higher quality - but not cheap!

nice! but i cannot fathom why it is $95 - seems ridiculous. I'll pass on that and keep the old cheaper mount

It's ali not plastic and combine that with the session camera it's far less swing weight on your paddle. A GP4 with the old mount feels like a brick on your paddle.

Wait a couple of weeks and there will be something simlar on Aliexpress for a lot less, I'm using a similar alloy attachment That cost $2.50 delivered

Lets us know what it's like , have you got the link. You can't pivot this one like the GoPro but can't go past that price.

am slightly skeptical......ali mount.....light and strong for sure.....but go pro attachment basically plastic.......give it a whack and its a gonner?

that is the case with any gopro mount - there is always the case end that is plastic.
Always have a lanyard, and for a paddle that is easy all you need it a loop
