Next time the weather is crap or the waves aren't epic, think of this guy and go surf anyway.
Nice find Jason. Hard to imagine how good that must feel to get some independence back in the surf.
Whilst it's great to get help from people to go surfing or to do anything in your life NOTHING beats being able to do it yourself and your own way

Had seen some clips of Jesse in the movie "Step into Liquid", when they were pushing him in and paddling him back out, as he mentioned. I read up about him and he broke his neck on a shallow sandbank. when he was 17, about 15 years ago.
Apart from him, what I find inspirational, are guys like Rob Machado and the others making time to help a mate in need. Brilliant.
