Howdy all
Beersup, the problem with using a stationary camera on the beach is that you only get to see a corridor of vision about fifty meters wide. Believe me, my neck of the woods is as crowded as anywhere...I just actively seek out the B waves so its usually just me, the odd lost grom and the rest of the old farts. Out of frame to the right and left is a whole different matter.
Rod, loving your work on the surfskate!! Believe it or not, apart from the obviously dodgy right, there are three different left handers in that clip. Could say I'm spoiled for choice or conversely bored senseless.
Flowmaster, as cold as our winters are I reckon they would be positively balmy compared to yours!! Good luck with that mate!!

Could go a few super slow-mos!

Loving it Sparxy. I'll share the driving with DTM when he hits it - I want some of that action too.

Nice surfing Sparx. Besides that is that soundtrack from 'The Beat' aka 'The British Beat'? Rough Rider I think. That is almost as cool as your style!

Hey supgman. Yep thats The Beat. Have and allways will be a huge fan. Every surfboard I have owned from about 1980 has had their logo on it. Even put it on one of my sups.

Howdy Piros
The board is a Simon Forward 4D custom as have been all my stand ups for the last four or five years.
The design was put together by one of the local crew who rides longboards shaped along the same lines. He calls them cuttlefish cos the design ispiration came from cutting up cuttle bones and studying the cross sections......I kid you not!!! Seems to work though, plenty of beef through the middle and the rail comes down to a nice thin profile.

Good to hear from you Goaty.
Not alone in not going to the Nats this year. Couldnt be stuffed putting myself through the trial by ordeal that is the Vic Titles.
One of these years we need to organise a National Club Championships run by paddlers for paddlers. Get an optimal venue at the optimal time of year, run it over a week and make it a freakin party....with surf.
Will certainly miss not catching up with you, Dan, Casso and the interstate cast and crew. All the best to those that go.
Cheers

Love the look of your board.... it looks pretty similar to my Hobie RAW.... however, they are not putting the fairly dramatic concave in them anymore.
I think its a mistake... it is one of my favorite features.

Thanks for that Creek
They do look similar and yeah...gotta love the concave, especially when it runs full length.
Love that squirt out of the turns and the instant acceleration in the pocket.
Cheers
