Hey guys, I've spent way too much time looking for SUP friendly holidays on the net and I'm not really getting anywhere. I've also spoken to a few surf travel agencies but I'd like to hear from some of you guys.
Here's some of the specifics.
Roughly 6 blokes want to go who are keen intermediate sup surfers and surfers. We would be looking for over head waves at least but nothing too serious. There's got to be a decent left!
There might be up to 10 blokes depending on specifics.
Some non surfers might be coming with us so that's ruled out a charter boat to stay on. Golf, fishing diving and other activities would be a bonus.
Budget is between $2500 to $4250 all inclusive.
Any feedback would be great!
Cheers.
Yep, very keen to load up the car and head over to Tassie on the boat at some stage. There was a nice video or two from Fanatic a few years ago in Tassie, I think it was Burnie or somewhere like that. Keen to go to something a bit warmer though at the moment for this time next year.
I just come back from Maui hire a sup over there lots of brakes. My be to late this year as it USA holiday time. But could be on your list for next year.
We have been looking into a number of destinations and Fiji comes up trumps when it comes to bang-for-your-SUP-buck.
The Fiji Beach House which features in Living the Stoke 2 is hard to go past. I has right hand reef break right out front and heaps of down wind opportunities. For surfing you can access the whole Coral Coast, Sigatoka river mouth, Frigates Passage and Namotou - lefts everywhere!
We will be in Fiji in July checking out the best SUP locations. Stay tuned.
For now you can't go past the Beach House. Your on the main island so there is plenty to do plus it offers excellent value for money!
