Hi, I got a Gopro session for Christmas and would like to mount it on my paddle for surfing.
What do people think is a good mount for this?shop.gopro.com/EMEA/mounts/handlebar-seatpost-pole-mount/AGTSM-001.htmlhttp://shop.gopro.com/EMEA/mounts/large-tube-mount-roll-bars-plus-pipes-plus-more/AGTLM-001.html
Are these a good job of overpriced?
Thanks, Tom
I use the plastic mount that the GoPro is mounted to in the packaging and duct tape it to the blade..

Or use these.. http://micbergsma.tv/product/zipmount-for-gopro/
You may need this one as the ones you have chosen may not let you point the camera along the shaft of the paddle:

Expensive though...
I personally have not had a lot of success because the leggie often got tangled so I use the board mount or mouth mount (and look like a tool):

DJ is the master of SUP video so I would listen to him!
had one of them snap off with a decent board whack Jason........always good to use a back up tethering system......so you still got your camera even if there is a mounting system failure
I use one of these which are good value, came in a GoPro pack of 3-4 other mounts from a Sup shop in Noosa but have seen them elsewhere from time to time.
I got the same as Dave from jbhifi for like 50 in a big pack of accessories. I have a hero and it works fine just wash it after your sessions as they rust easy.
works well.
Thanks for the suggestions.
I have a kialoa insanity paddle which has a large raised bit along the middle of the blade, so duck taping won't work, although the field of vision is so much better. Can you use one of the smaller black adhesive mounts on the paddle or will they come off?
Watch out for the mouth guard mounts I have heard of a few lost teeth!
This is the best one I have seen and used.
