Slow week here in Perth .. other than Tuesday's 3-5ft + off-shores :). So, just my short report of my recent SUP break in Lisbon. Hooked up with Tiago Silva at Purtugal SUP Camp . A few days of nice and powerful 3-6 footers with mostly light off-shores and side-offs! Being in late April, the line-ups at Caparica were just sparsely populated with a few short boarders and SUP riders. Had a blast and you can swap boards in Tiago's van parked right next to the beach :).
Love the Sunova Speeed 8'5" - really light, relatively stable for its LxW and that 'lift' handle is a real saviour for the walk back to the van.
Pro guiding, instruction and also van-full of new Sunovas (and some older Starboards) : http://www.portugalsupcamp.com
You guys should have said something as I would have joined you in the water.
We've been having a run of really nice surf kind of everywhere in the country due to some back to back W and WSW swells. Not common here in Portugal and even less common at this time of the year.
Our new Sunova boards should be arriving in two weeks... so excited!!!

Hi Johnny! Yeah .. Tiago was mentioning how much you liked the Sunova boards - would surely have been a blast at Caparica surf had you been there too of course. My next session up (and hopefully I have vastly improved my SUP kungfu by then) to Lisbon will surely like to hook up for a session together :). Take care mate and enjoy the wonderful conditions over in Portugal.
