Hi, can anyone offer any advice in repairing a crack to the outer edge of a carbon board (Naish Glide)

Its a small split to the underside rail and hasn't been in the water since the wind blew it against a tree!

Thanks,

Jim

Hello Jim.

I put a small crack in my board asked the guys at Jungle Surf, they put me onto the right bloke for the job used carbon to do the repair as good as new,did not cost much.
I would give the guys in your local sup shop a call find the guy for the job, if you do it yourself it could let water in and it might be noticeable or increase weight in the wrong place.
Cheers.

The besy guy anywhere is Tim Radford at Breakers Board repairs in Dee Why.(0404 217 761). Most of the other board repair guys send their carbon work to Tim. He does all the work for Naish and Fanatic and is able to colour match perfectly. With a rail crack Tim could probably repair it so that it can't be seen.

Unfortunately, I just noticed you're in Qld so your local Naish retailer will probably know where to go.
