i've been away on a little supfari and just before i left Brigitte Conlon (purple beanie here) had won the state womens surfing title. now i'm back to find out that she's just done the Murray River 50km event and is the 1st ever female SUP'er to finish it. and she's featured on a page in the latest Supworld mag.

plus she's a surfing and sup instructor.

as we say in SA - HEAPS GOOD

Howdy. Thanks Paddle Pop and Angi.
It has been a busy 12 months. I have my second South Australian State SUP Surfing Title. Become ambassador for Victory Koredry surf and sup wear.
Finished first in the SA Ocean Paddlers series 2012-13. First woman to complete the M50 of the RPM on SUP. The 14' YOLO really made the Marathon a memorable experience.
I was stoked to be asked to feature in SUPWORLD mag. Thanks for the exposure.
Looking forward to more racing and SUP surfing in the next few months, here and interstate.
cheers B..;)
Seeya soon.

I was present when Brig had her first paddle on an old winsurfer ,with a homemade paddle. She had natural ability even back then.Obviously she has gone on to bigger and better things. Her enthusiasm for surfing (longboarding) has carried through to Sup ,and her motivation and drive for all things surfing and water related have brought well earned rewards.I congratulate Brig and wish her every success for the future.
