SPSC round 4 is on this Sunday. I just surfed Nth Bilgola yesterday and the banks were amazing, some of the longest lefts I've had in a long time.
Here is the seabreeze event ad - www.seabreeze.com.au/Members/Events/Event.aspx?id=9447943 , Or here is the SPSC Tidy Club on line rego site https://spsc.tidyclub.com/public/events/1924-spsc-4th-competition-for-2014-2015-season-nth-bilgola .
As always, looking like it's going to be an awesome day.
See you there.
JB
Pretty crazy swell out there this morning, however the map is looking really good for Sunday. Light offshore in the morning and the southerly swell sticking around but calming down a little bit.
3-4ft, SE swell, Light WNW-WSW winds til midday, Low tide at 8:18am and some weird yellow shiny thing in the sky. So get online now and register so we can get on the water early before the southerly pics up.
Look forward to seeing you all there, here's the link again https://spsc.tidyclub.com/public/events/1924-spsc-4th-competition-for-2014-2015-season-nth-bilgola .
Plus Naish Australia will be putting up a little something as a lucky door prize for two lucky entrants.
Ride safe,
JB
URGENT UPDATE!!
After watching the graphs and multiple maps, it looks like the southerly is coming in too close to competition time for Sunday. Bilgola Beach is directly exposed to the southerly, so the committee has moved the event to Palm Beach, most likely at the two rocks. First heat on the water at 7:45am.
- SPSC Sunday 12th April, location move to Palm Beach, 2 rocks (sth Palmy)
See you there.
JB
Cheers for the heads up. See how fast the swell drops.
Thought we already had 4th event Maybe just having a senior moment after too much time on the longboard......
Well done all the crew. Good call to move to Palmie. Such a fun day.
Congrats to Jimi and Jo on the wins.
Once again the average conditions provided a very contestable playing field.
Lots of different boards and styles, world champs, pros, first timers with plenty of wipeouts and ripping.
Big smiles, yum food, happy days.
My bad, it was round 5! Time flies when you're having fun.
Such a great day, big thanks to the SPSC committee for putting together such an awesome day.

Such a epic day on Sunday. Huge thanks to everyone for coming along. Once again, another day where the waves just got better and better. From the initial check with JB, where we were looking at 2 second dredgey semi close outs, to where as the day progressed we were seeing seriously competitive surfing going down.

It's so cool to see how the club is growing, with a the racing and downwind side of the club getting bigger by the day. Huge thank you to all the committee members who were there on hand on Sunday...Judging and tallying that men's final was pretty challenging :)
