Hi Guys
Made the fatal mistake of booking a last minute Bali trip for my girlfriends birthday on Jetstar!!
Just found out that the Jetstar flights are limited to 6ft surfboards
Does anyone know of a decent paddle board hire around Padang -Uluwatu
Normally ride a 8'3" Naish LE which im guessing would be a bit of a stretch
Any feedback welcome
RL

Would be entertaining watching a sup come in through the cave at high tide with a decent swell running

There is a shop in Sanur. Its Jankie. Look him up on here he will be able to help your hire a Sup. The only places to hire are in sanur.

Hey RL

Went to Ulus peak season 2013, not much swell so it was totally packed with pros and kooks and to be polite it was a complete fr!@@in dog fight on a short board.
Took the sup out and surfed and paddled all the way down to Padang and back and got heaps of waves to myself every day (bumped into Tom Carroll on his short board, had a chat and felt the envy). Even on the bigger days I got waves and avoided the crowd. It was my second sup trip to Bali and I wouldn't go back without one. Don't know where you can hire them, but pretty sure they will be available somewhere in Kuta.

Have a great trip and safe travelling RL!

Hi termite, i wonder if some waves breaking between Padang and Ulu are'nt "SUPable ", did you see some makable waves you would attempt an other time when you should come back
Some many years past Garry Elkerton told he got some waves around there when it get very big at Ulu, can be some smaller ones some times???
