Announcement from SUP VIC Inc.
A date for SUP VIC's Annual General Meeting has been set for Sunday 25th May, 2014. The location and time are to be confirmed, however, we will be seeking access to our usual AGM venue - upstairs at Hobsons Restaurant in Sandringham.
As per the club's charter, we will be calling for nominations to serve as general committee members as well as office bearers (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary). With a number of committee members and office bearers electing stand down at this time, we are very much in need of new volunteers to nominate. In particular, we will be seeking a new president, vice president and treasurer at this stage.
In recent times we have seen our sister club Bass SUP disband largely on account of the lack of club members willing to put in a little time to help out. It would be a terrible shame to see SUP VIC suffer the same fate. If you have the time, I hope you might consider nominating for the SUP VIC committee.
