I'm heading to Lombok in a week or so, just wondering if anyone has any advice RE board hire, I'm trying to work out weather to take a board or just hire one over there

The one quote I got was $50 a day which seems a bit exe and not sure they're any good anyway so I'm definitely looking at dragging one with me

Also wondering if anyones taken sups on Garuda flights from Bali to Lombok and if there's anything it look out for with that.

Cheers

Don't know about SUP hire, but you can fly direct to Lombok now, so don't need to worry about link flights. Or their dodgy landings!

I could be in error, but they were just opening the airport for international traffic when I was there 3 years ago. Must have hit a glitch.

Ive done Lombok a few times but always been on a boat. Took a SUP last year and had a blast but the new airport at least tripled crowd numbers at every break we surfed. A lot of new roads too which has made a lot of breaks more accessible from land.
